In der Schule eine  Null- im Beruf ein Star!
„‚Jan, von dir habe ich nichts anderes erwartet‘, hat unser Deutsch- und Englischlehrer oft gesagt, wenn er mir mal wieder einen Test mit einer schlechten Note zurückgegeben hat. Meine Schulzeit war einfach nur schrecklich“, erzählt Jan Busch im Gespräch mit der Zeitschrift Schule und Beruf.
Heute ist Jan Busch ein gut bezahlter Industrie-Designer und arbeitet für einen großen deutschen Automobilkonzern. Er erzählt weiter: ,, Mein Vater war sehr streng und wollte, dass ich Abitur mache. Nur war ich leider in der Schule eine absolute Null. Nur das Fach Kunst hat mich wirklich interessiert und mir Spaß gemacht, auch weil unsere Kunstlehrerin super war. Mit 16 habe ich die Mittlere Reife gemacht und wollte auf keinen Fall weiter zur Schule gehen. Ich habe mir dann verschiedene Jobs gesucht, habe zum Beispiel in der Küche von einem Restaurant gearbeitet oder in einem Autohaus Autos geputzt.
Das war ziemlich langweilig, aber ich hatte viele Ideen, was man an Autos schöner machen kann. Und so hat mir mein Chef empfohlen, eine Ausbildung zum Produkt- Designer zu machen.
Das war eine super Idee. Ich habe mich sofort im Internet über die Ausbildung zum Technischen Produkt- Designer informiert und mich gleich beworben. Nach zwei Monaten hatte ich einen Ausbildungsplatz. Nach der Ausbildung habe ich das Fachabitur gemacht und  danach Industrie-Design studiert. Ich war glücklich! Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben hat mir Lernen richtig Spaß gemacht und ich hatte nur gute Noten. 
Nach meiner Abschlussprüfung habe ich gleich eine Stelle in der Autoindustrie gefunden. Und wissen Sie was? Ich denke oft an meine wunderbare Kunstlehrerin. Sie hat mein Interesse an Design und kreativer Arbeit geweckt.“ [Quelle: Schritte international]

Explain which of the three lenses will form a virtual and magnified image of an object placed at 15 cm from the lens. Draw the ray diagram in support of your answer.

12. Two lamps, one rated 100 W at 220 V and the other 200 W at 220V are connected (i) in series and (ii) in parallel to electric main supply of 220V. Find the current drawn in each case. 3

13. The figure below shows three cylindrical copper conductors along with their face areas and lengths. Compare the
resistance and the resistivity of the three conductors. Justify your answer.
