Traduisez en anglais :

Pourquoi les jeunes adorent-ils les réseaux sociaux ?
Oui, les jeunes adorent Facebook. En fait, ce qu’ils adorent, c’est la dynamique des réseaux sociaux. Ils peuvent communiquer avec leurs amis, renforcer leurs amitiés, se divertir seul ou à plusieurs, planifier des sorties, publier  des photos, s’échanger des informations, et bien sûr des réponses de leurs devoirs. Pratique et gratuit !  Certains utilisent aussi les réseaux sociaux pour faire de nouvelles connaissances mais c’est en fait moins fréquent. Ils préfèrent retrouver des amis ou bavarder avec des amis d’amis. Mais ces activités n’expliquent pas complètement cet engouement (craze) presque obsessionnel pour les réseaux sociaux. En effet, à travers les médias sociaux, les adolescents recherchent une forme de reconnaissance. En publiant du contenu, ils sont en attente d’une réaction de leurs pairs. Ils attendent la validation de leurs actes. Ils sont en recherche d’adhésion (support) ou d’une réaction. De cette manière, ils peuvent concrètement visualiser leur popularité dans leur groupe. Parallèlement, les groupes sociaux permettent aux jeunes de gérer (manage) leur image. En choisissant l’image qu’ils postent, ils 
essayent de montrer leurs meilleurs profils, en tout cas, celui qu’ils ont envie de montrer. Ils ont l’impression de pouvoir contrôler leur réputation. Cette approche est révolutionnaire et modifie leur rapport à l’image.
